Serial Plane Project

Hey guys, so I know you've been waiting patiently for my animation of my serial plane ring so here it is. Enjoy!

 

The animation was inspired by Beyonce's Single Ladies video."All the single ladies, all the single ladies..." :)

 

Metamorphosis Project

This is my animation of metamorphosis project. It shows the transition of a potato into a bunch of potato chips. Hope you enjoy.

P.S. You might crave a few potato chips after looking at this piece!

Recycled Project

This Project would be by far the most fun and creative by far. The materials I used to construct my project are old newspaper, in which i paper macscheed the top part of the cup. I waited until it dried and then painted it and designed it. For the stem of the glass I used a one inch dole. and painted it black. For the base of the glass, I glued two pieces of scrap wood together and painted it orange. For the things placed in the glass I made a stick with olives. The stick is a scrap piece of a 1/4 dole and the olives are made from air dry clay. On the rim of the clay is scraps of foam disc. The last piece is a two part system of quick water in which it takes 8-10 hours to dry.

Kaleidocycles

Last Weeks Project consisted of learning how to structure kaleidocycles.

The process for me was daunting but once I got used to things, it became easier for me and rather fun. I was pleased that when I began to twist it that it didn't break or crack. I think to improve things that I wouldn't choose to coat it with super glue. I thought that it would turn out pretty spectacular but to my surprise it didn't. I know now that acrylic would be the better way to go and i will keep that in mind for future projects.

Here's a look at what I'm working on this week. This weeks project consist of making two kaleidocycles with the incorporation of 2d designs. Here's what I have so far. It's a work in progress so don't be too critical.

I dont know why it was so hard for me to assemble it right and have it stay together. I did a total of four and hopefully my forth one is good. (crossing my fingers).
